As I am in Montana at the moment, possessed of only a phone*, I dinna write a post for you. But the bountiful universe provided something I might have written, or felt like writing, by way of my inbox.

If you have not already made his acquaintance, allow me to introduce to you poet Shane Koyczan, and his latest poem, “Tarot”:

He is brilliant, real, and his poetry is beautifully wrought, and touches me with greater regularity than most. This one in particular. I am a fool, too, I guess. I don’t see me changing anytime soon.

*Apologies for the formatting issues, including the URL in lieu of an active link for the poem; the WordPress interface is pretty suboptimal on my phone.

I've been doing some form of creative writing since 9th grade, and have been a blogger since 2003. Like most bloggers, I've quit blogging multiple times. But the words always come back, asking to be written down, and they pester me if I don't. So here we are. Thanks for reading.
